Sayuri is designed to fit firmly through the bust, ribcage and waist before opening immediately into its dramatic ball-gown skirt. The internal corset should feel secure rather than loose, particularly because the gown has no shoulder straps.

The voluminous skirt provides generous freedom of movement beneath the gown despite its structured appearance. Due to the density of the embellishment and size of the skirt, the gown will have more physical weight than a minimally decorated bridal style.
