Choose your size based on your bust, waist and hip measurements rather than your usual ready-to-wear size. The bodice should feel firm and supportive without compressing the bust, while the skirt should contour the body smoothly without pulling across the lace.

Because of the density of embellishment and the weight of the cape, professional bridal alterations are strongly recommended.

Additional lining can be added through the skirt if you prefer a more opaque finish.

CAPE & TRAIN HANDLING

The detachable floral cape is one of the most dramatic components of the design and should be handled carefully.

When walking, lift the cape slightly at the sides before turning or stepping backward. For photography, allow the cape to spread fully behind the gown so the flower-edged train can form a wide, symmetrical frame.

For indoor receptions or dancing, removing the cape is recommended for easier movement.
